Per Diem Float Pool Registered Nurse
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Per Diem Float Pool Registered Nurse, where you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality, compassionate patient care across multiple Medical, Surgical, and Telemetry units. This role offers flexibility and variety, allowing you to utilize your skills in different clinical settings while supporting our hospital’s staffing needs. We are seeking dedicated professionals who are adaptable, clinically proficient, and committed to delivering evidence-based nursing care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based bedside nursing care across various units including Medical, Surgical, and Telemetry.
- Adapt to different clinical environments and patient populations, ensuring high standards of care are maintained.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately in the electronic medical record.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies, demonstrating strong clinical judgment.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Medical-Surgical or Telemetry setting.
- Current New York State RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and excellent teamwork skills.
- Ability to float within scope of competency and handle varying assignments with professionalism.
